Ten things Friday

1. Gareth Cliff's "It's the WEEEEEEKEND Babbbyyy". It will never get old, and just seems to make me want to air punch in the traffic.

2. Last minute 'have - to's' that make the mornings fly.

3. That last hour of the day K I L L S you, but then you get in your car to go home and forget all about it.

4. It makes you feel like you need to do something important. It's the last day of the working week, it MUST end well.

5. You never end up doing anything important.

6. Need the time? Look on Facebook, everyone is counting the minutes.

7. The last 15mins of work is spent planning your outfit for your night out. That outfit is never the one you end up wearing.

8. Alcohol tastes so much better.

9. Everyone is ready to have a good time, happy people, happy me!

10. Driving home from work feels like the end of a really inspirational movie.

Isn't this moment fantastic?!! I snapped this pic on my last holiday to Cape Town at a night club called Deco Dance. Every time I look at this image I find myself pulling at some memory of a ladies' night out. There is nothing quite like being caught up in a moment with a song you love, celebrating friendship. Whoever you are ladies, you made my night. Thank you. 

Ten things...

1. Needing to wee when I am in the middle of a really good dream.

2. 5FM on weekends. KB - enough said.

3. Drivers that sit on my bum when there is a whole other lane free. They can see I drive an old car so why do they even bother? Meh.

4. Being broke at the end of the month - serious case of FOMO sets in.

5. People playing music form their cellphones. It's called earphones, hello!

6. Doing the dishes. I can't. I JUST can't.

7. Aliens. There is no possible way that they exist. Then again there is. Eeek!

8. People that repeat you but make it sound like it was their idea. 

9. Beetroot. Yuckies galore! Don't even bring that pink/purple/red stuff near me! 

10. People talking about/posting photos of their babies on Facebook. EVERY SINGLE DAY. Unsubscribe. I am way to young for this.

10 THINGS I LEARNT IN JANUARY 

1. Overcame a break up (and survived)

2. Learnt that saving money is VERY important for those times of need e.g. End of a LOOONG month.

3. Friends are like diamonds. Very rare, extremely pretty and are valuable in times of need, especially when you’re ready to sell your soul. (However they do sometimes prevent you from doing such things).

4. This is not the month to start your resolutions … at least there are 11 months left!

5. Nothing is more special than spending a day with your mom. Moms ROCK! They too can enjoy
things that young ones do. E.g. Ride a bike on the promenade. GO MOM!

6. This is the best time of the year, sunshine, long days, and a car with no aircon to soak it all up in. (Literally, sweat = yuck.)

7. I do love my job.

8. Books are so much better than TV

9. New Years are for risks, I dyed my hair, totes getting another tattoo and maybe skinny dip somewhere!

10. Don’t look for LOVE when you aren’t ready. It won’t come and you will end up attracting them dodgy fellows. (Sorry dodgy fellows, but you are rather dodgy.)

Oh February, the month of ♡. Just be kind please.
